This area attracts visitors for its sandy beaches and proximity to the Velebit mountain. Island of Pag can be reached in a 15 minute car drive and Zadar, an ancient town on the coast is only 20 minutes away. Within 1 hour driving distance you can visit the national parks Krka Waterfalls, and most the important climbing center in Croatia, Paklenica. Also, from Zadar there are organized boat excursions to the national park Kornati on daily basis. Such natural beauties classify Zadar region as one of the best destinations in Croatia.
