This beautiful house is located in the middle of Velebit Nature Park and in proximity of 3 more amazing National Parks. It welcomes sports and nature enthusiasts from all over the world and has a unique design which perfectly fits its surroundings. Lots of snow during the winter season, pleasant temperatures throughout the summer and a short 20km distance from the sea make MonsAlbius a perfect holiday destination during the entire year.
Special attention was given to the architectural concept of the house. Traditional elements were used in a modern way in order to bring its guests a special experience. Exterior made of wooden shingles brings memory of old Lika houses, it ages slowly showing the influence of harsh Velebit weather. Most of the furniture is recyclable and produced by local artisans. Sustainability and promoting local values is what owners of this house are striving for. Have in mind that the nearest grocery store is 20min away, but there is a restaurant, as well as a café within a short walking distance.
You are invited to relax in the outdoor jacuzzi which overlooks the mountains and provides great view of the surrounding nature. For the kids, there is a playground in front of the house. Lots of outdoor parking space is provided too. Plenty of activities are available in Baske Ostarije, from hiking, to cycling, skiing and horse riding. Spend memorable holidays in the homeland of Nikola Tesla and explore undiscovered region of Lika.
